Beste bezoeker,

mijn naam is Heidi, ik ben een geboren en getogen West-Vlaming. Ik ben altijd al een creatieveling geweest. Als kind en tiener was tekenen en knutselen mijn grootste talent. Later is deze passie verwaarloost door de hedendaagse computer/laptop waar ik mijn creativiteit heb herontdekt in andere dingen zoals video/ filmpjes maken, Powerpoint en Photoshop… Tot er een nieuwe passie is ontstaan nl. fotografie en die is alleen nog versterkt sinds ik me een spiegelreflexcamera heb aangeschaft. Naast deze passie heb ik ook nog een grote passie voor katten. Daar ben ik dagelijks wel vaak mee bezig en ik fotografeer ze ook graag, naast alle andere foto’s die ik maak en zo goed mogelijk in beeld wil brengen. Ik hoop dat mijn fotoblog jullie bevalt en dat jullie van mijn foto’s kunnen genieten. Alvast bedankt voor jullie bezoek.

my name is Heidi, I am a born and raised West-Fleming. I’ve always been a creative person. As a child and teen was drawing and tinkering my greatest talent. Later, this passion neglects by today’s computer/laptop where I have rediscovered my creativity in other things like video/movies, PowerPoint and Photoshop … Until a new passion is formed photography and that is only amplified since I have purchased me an SLR camera. In addition to this passion I have a great passion for cats. Every day I am busy with them and that takes a lot of time.       1. Yes, it’s very difficult to navigate on your blog, Heidi. I couldn’t find any more posts from you!! Is “The best of 2015” your latest work? Or your most popular work?
        I would suggest you maybe choose another theme? There are so many lovely themes out there, all for free and it’s easy to switch.
        You should concentrate more on your work on your homepage. I think the readers are looking for your latest post, not so much what you have liked. You should have the widgets: latest post, best liked posts etc on your right sidebar. Most readers are not very patient … maybe it’d be an idea to consider removing the static welcome post and integrate this text into “about”. Thus the reader would immediately be confronted with your latest post. And there should be a forward – backward sign from one post to the next one. Look carefully on other blogs and make a mental note of which ones are easy to navigate and not. I hope this was kind of a help and not stressing you!

    1. Dank je Bea, dat je nog eens mijn site bezocht hebt. Jawel, ik blog nog, maar blijkbaar krijg ik het probleem niet opgelost of waar ik het moet gaan zoeken!? Voor mij staan de links naar mijn post duidelijk bovenaan rechts, maar blijkbaar is dit voor vele bloggers/ volgers/ bezoekers onzichtbaar en hoe dat komt weet ik niet en begrijp het niet goed! Slechts een paar volgers hebben blijkbaar wel de weg gevonden naar mijn post, o.a. Marylou van ‘Natuurfreak’, Henk van ‘Henk’s fotospace’ en Yova. En sporadisch dat er nog eens een bezoeker langskomt. Ik heb een tijdje geleden al eens aan Marylou gevraagd hoe zij wel aan mijn post komt, maar heb van haar nog steeds geen antwoord gekregen. Misschien moet ik het eens aan Henk vragen, maar zie me genoodzaakt om helemaal opnieuw te beginnen met een ander wordpress thema! Hoewel ik dan ook nog niet zeker weet of dit het probleem zal oplossen!?

      1. Wat vreemd Heidi… Misschien moet je je vraag eens stellen bij WordPress zelf? Ik vind dit echt raar. Zou graag jouw blog volgen, maar momenteel lukt het dus (nog) niet. Veel succes ermee!

      2. Tja, misschien moet ik dat eens doen. Maar hoe neem ik contact met wordpress en kan dat in het Nederlands? Ik zal het vanavond eens vragen aan mijn man, die is daar veel beter in zo’n zaken (oplossen). Ik hoop dat het ooit opgelost word, maar ik denk ook dat ik de enige niet ben met dit probleem, alleen dat mensen daar niet openlijk of voldoende over communiceren.

      3. Ik heb al een paar keer een vraag gesteld, maar het moest wel in het Engels gebeuren. Het antwoord liet ook telkens een paar dagen op zich wachten… maar uiteindelijk kwam ik er dan toch wel uit. Veel succes ermee.

  10. I love About-me-pages. I always check people’s About-me-pages that I know if persons have same interest as I have. In Your blog, I have found photography, travel and garden. Your cats are cute and next year we will to get new kitten. We both have had cats and dogs, so we love animals.

It’s nice if we have the same specific interests and can share with each other … As I read, we do have some, like photography and animals, but I do have a lot of interest in things and what people and life itself offers. So there will always be something interesting to read and to see, which appeals to me at other bloggers 🙂
